Here is a picture of what the room looked like before… The first thing we had to do was pick a color scheme…
Her favorite color is the rainbow and she helped me pick these colors out.
I painted the left side with chalkboard paint, the middle with regular semi-gloss paint, and the right side was a piece of galvanized steel that I had cut to the size I needed. I then framed it out with moulding.

Measure and mark out your wall
Separate your wall with frog tape
Paint your left side section with chalkboard paint
Paint your middle section with latex paint
Hang up your pre-cut galvanized steel with nails
Cut and frame your sections with 1×2’s
Frame out the top with crown moulding
