JJ’S TIE DYE TUTORIAL
I’ve been keeping all our stained clothing for a reason…Spring is almost here and it is time to bust out the short sleeve shirts and tank tops. I couldn’t part with my overpriced cami from maurices just because it got a stain on it.
This is the dye we used. ↑
Overall it was a very easy process. The dye does stain so make sure you wear the gloves provided and use some sort of protection on the surface you’re doing this on (we used saran wrap). The kit also includes rubber bands. It was really easy, you just mix the bottles with water and shake it up & pour it into the clothing. I would say it is pretty true to color. If you want a lighter color, mix in more water.
This was JJ’s first ever tutorial. She really enjoys teaching and creating art. She has told me she wants her own YouTube channel just for sharing her art. The comments that were left on her video were so kind and heartfelt. And as I read the comments to her, she told me what to respond to each of you with.
