If you already looked into my DIY Christmas Decor projects, you probably already know what colors/theme I went with this year. If you’re new here…welcome! Today I’m sharing my 2016 Christmas Tablescape-On a Budget! I think it’s important to share projects that are inexpensive because it shows others that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to make a difference and that you, too, can make your house feel happy.
My colors this year are black, gold, white, and a little splash of pink. The two places I purchased all the items you’re about to see are Dollar Tree and Home Goods.
TIP! -You don't have to purchase a separate set of dishes just because the seasons change. Use your existing tableware and change out key elements such as the centerpiece and napkin rings. Just adding different little key elements will change the whole look and feel of the room.
The napkins, gold charger with rhinestones, and the black/gold/white bowl are all from Home Goods. Everything else is from Dollar Tree. I made the centerpieces out of some ornaments from the Dollar Tree.
Unfortunately, Home Goods didn’t have the whole set of black/gold/white bowls but I loved it so much I bought it and have tried to track it down online-with no luck. If anyone knows where I can find it, please let me know! They are the perfect colors and size for my set.
If you know me, you know I just had to throw in some pink in there 😉 I found these bows in my Christmas bin from last years decor. I forgot I had purchased these on discount.
I wrapped the silverware in napkins and secured them with a clamp from Dollar Tree
I think my favorite accessory I found from Dollar Tree is this gold reindeer. I think it’s a napkin ring, but I used it as decoration. It’s surprisingly good quality! I was able to find wine glasses with a gold rim to compliment the Gold rimmed Dollar Tree plates.
