Back when I was working on Jay’s updated playroom I went to Target to hunt down a lamp and something to store Jay’s tablet and remotes. I found these lamps ↓ and I almost bought one, but I didn’t because they were too tall for what I needed, cheap looking, and although it would fit her remotes her tablet wouldn’t fit in there.
I loved the concept and was inspired by it.
So I found this desk lamp ↓ and it was the perfect size. I wasn’t convinced I could find some sort of storage that would fit on that little surface area and be able to store her tablet, but I was determined to try it anyways.
I went to TJ MAXX and low and behold I found the perfect size caddy I could use. (it was only $4.99). Although her tablet can’t fit INSIDE the caddy I can glue it to the edge and leave a space for her tablet to slide into. The caddy will prevent the tablet from falling over while keeping it organized. Yay!
So all you have to do is spray paint your organizer whatever color you want and glue it onto your lamp with E6000 glue. Let it dry for 24 hours and you’re done! I love how this looks and best of all-it keeps everything organized. ♥
