Hellllooo and Happy Sunday, my friends! I’m going to show you how to make this West Elm Lunar Moon Phase Wall Art Dupe. It’s a really easy, affordable, and beautiful DIY project compared to the West Elm Lunar Moon Wall Art. And the best part? It shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes to complete. That’s right. Let me just say that this project wasn’t planned out much AT ALL. I was going through my stuff prepping for a garage sale and getting rid of stuff that I don’t want to bring to my new apartment with me when I came across these wooden circles. I remember buying them a while ago when I made my DIY Moon Shelf Crystal Display. I was going to put the wooden circles in the garage sale, but then I had an idea! I could see make a DIY West Elm Lunar Moon Phase Wall Art Dupe with them! So, I made it on a whim and wanted to share it with you. I think it’s pretty cool and I have a feeling you’re going to dig-it, too.
I’m not sure where I’m going to put it when I move, but I’m sure we will find the perfect home for it in our new apartment! This DIY West Elm Lunar Moon Phase Wall Art Dupe wall art totally gives off West Elm vibes.

MATERIALS:
Pack of circles
Jigsaw (only $23!)
Miter saw
(you may even be able to use a box cutter instead of a miter saw because the circles aren’t very thick)
After stenciling and cutting out your moons (you can do whatever gradient you want), you’re going to want to lightly sand the edges down.

I ended up staining mine in Minwax stain in dark walnut, but you can paint yours whatever color(s) you like! There’s so many things you can do to personalize this project. For example, drill holes in the top and hang them vertically with some twine, adhere them onto a wood plank or canvas, the options really are limitless. I just stuck them on the wall with some double-sided tape until I figure out what I want to do with them in the long run. I really would like to get something really big and more proportionate for the wall behind the couch because we have 9′ ceilings. You know whatever I decide to put there is more than likely going to be a DIY 😉
