Gold dipped furniture is all the craze right now. Well, you don’t have to go out and buy a new piece of furniture, just use what ya got!

I’m in the process of turning part of the garage into my workspace and I needed a desk so decided to use what I had and paint it up and dip it in gold.  Cuz, who wouldn’t wanna be dipped in gold…am I right..

I found this lady in the garage and here’s what she looked like before.

I sanded her down to get off the glossy texture and give the spray paint something to adhere to.

I used this chalkboard spray paint to give her a new outfit.

I spray painted the top and the legs

This is my favorite gold spray paint 

After the chalkboard paint dried I taped off her legs and applied metallic gold spray paint underneath the painters tape.

When it was dry I removed the tape

And it’s that easy! You can do this to any piece of furniture, and accessories. It’s a fun way to add a little extra glam to an old piece of furniture. I now have a nice work table for the garage!
