Hey guys! Today I’m making a DIY Outdoor Bench out of milk crates, zip ties, and scrap wood. I needed somewhere to store all of Jaylis outdoor toys (like soaking wet pool toys, squirt guns, chalk, balls, etc…) and this was the perfect DIY solution on a budget.
I started by assembling the milk crates with zip ties. I had to use a drill to put holes in for my zip ties and because I didn’t have any black zip ties, I just colored them in with a sharpie (lol, gotta just make it work!)
I wanted to put a lid on mine to double it up as a seating bench so I measured the top and cut a piece of wood (from an old door my neighbor gave me) to size.
You could also cover your lid with an outdoor rug or outdoor fabric, but I chose not to do that.
Now we have storage for all those summer toys
and a bench to sit on!
So what do you guys think? Is this something you’re going to make?
